With pre-production in full-swing, a confirmed release date of
December 18, 2015, has been set for Lucasfilm's highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII.
"We're very excited to share the official 2015 release date for Star Wars:
Episode VII, where it will not only anchor the popular holiday
filmgoing season but also ensure our extraordinary filmmaking team has
the time needed to deliver a sensational picture," said Alan Horn,
chairman of The Walt Disney Studios.
Star Wars: Episode VII will be directed by J.J. Abrams (Super 8, Mission: Impossible III, Star Trek) and is being scripted by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi). Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, with Tommy Harper (Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Jack Ryan, Star Trek Into Darkness) and Jason McGatlin (Tintin, War of the Worlds) serving as executive producers. John Williams is returning to score Star Wars: Episode VII.
Shooting is scheduled to begin spring 2014 at Pinewood Studios.

Star Wars Day Indonesia bakalan bikin pameran di event Toys and Games
Republic 3, wiken ini dibandung. Kita bakalan bikin 'mini SWD', di area
seluas 200m persegi, dari tgl 4-6 oktober 2013, jam 10.00-21.00. Setiap
hari bakalan ada event yg berbeda, diantaranya:
JUMAT
Kita
ngajakin para fanboy buat ikut sama2 bikin diorama starwars sebesar
2,4x2,4m persegi. Diakhir acara, peserta bakalan bawa pulang bagian
diorama yg dia bikin, dan sertifikat dari SWD
SABTU
Sabtu adalah hari art project, jam 15-21 artist2 dari art project SWD
bakalan buka meja di artist alley, dan mereka bakalan jual berbagai
artwork mereka. Selain itu, bakalan ada doodle jam, dimana para artist
bakalan bikin artwork barengan live
MINGGU
adalah hari
belanja, terutama buat barang vintage. jam 15.00 bakalan ada operasi
pasar barang vintage, diikuti dengan auction mainan. Terdapat cukup
banyak barang starwars yg akan dilepas disini.
Plus:
- "Kursus kilat gratis pedang sinar" setiap hari jam 13.00 dan jam 19.00
- Party time dengan DJ SWD di pavilion SWD setiap harinya
- SWD Photo booth, buat yg pengen difoto dengan costum starwars
- Droids race game, berhadiah untuk pengemudi R2 yg tercepat bisa melalui lintasan
